We are so excited to celebrate with friends and family traveling from near and far! Below is some helpful information to make planning your trip as easy as possible. Additional details will be added as they become available.
Hotel Accommodations
We are currently working on securing a room block at a nearby hotel for our guests. Once finalized, we will share booking information and a special rate here on the website.

Nearest Airport
The closest airport to the wedding location is San Antonio International Airport (SAT).
The airport is located approximately 15–20 minutes from downtown San Antonio.
Ground Transportation
San Antonio is a very drivable city, and most guests find that rideshare services (Uber and Lyft) are convenient and readily available. Plus, the hotel, church and reception venue will all be within the same general area.
If you prefer to rent a car, rental cars can be easily secured at the airport.

Explore the RiverWalk & be grab a drink and some appetizers at the Hard Rock Café where we first met.
Visit the San Antonio Missions–an official U.S. National Historical Park and UNESCO World Heritage site.
Don’t forget to snap your photo in front of the Alamo!
Take a photo outside the Majestic Theater (Vanessa’s favorite downtown spot!)
Eat some amazing Tex-Mex food (Try Rosario’s in Southtown or Casa Rio on the RiverWalk.)
Go to the Pearl District and have a drink at Hotel Emma’s Sternwirth Bar. (The site of Matt & Vanessa’s first date.)
Walk along the St. Mary’s Strip, grab a drink and take in some cool street art & murals.
Enjoy a few hours at the San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA) located in an old brewery!
Eat some breakfast tacos at a hole in the wall (preferably NOT in downtown.)
Go shopping for souvenirs and hear some live music at HIstoric Market Square.
Watch the Saga of San Antonio light show in Main Plaza at 9 pm any night except on Mondays.
